TOPIC: KNOW THE WORD OF GOD
TEXT: Matt 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Message
The word of God is the only divinely inspired manual for spiritual warfare. Other books are useful only if they are in harmony with God’s word. In facing the temptation of Satan, Jesus used the word of God. Jesus quoted specific Scriptures applicable to the immediate battle. We must know the word of God. In Matt 22:29, Jesus said that Sadducees are deceived because they do not know the scriptures; neither do they know the power of God.

Many Christian remain spiritually inefficient and do not share in the victorious life because they do not know the word of God. It means that they do not know the truth and the devil is able to mislead them easily. In order to use the Word of God effectively in spiritual warfare, you must study, mediate on, and memories the Word of God.

ACTION POINT: Many defects in life come because we do not know the word of God.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, grant me understanding in your Word. Amen
