Topic: LOVE
Text: Mark 12: 30-31
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
MESSAGE
Love does no harm to anyone, therefore, it's a fulfilment of the law. Sin creates a breach in relationship and separate us from others and God. When you love someone or something, it will be difficult to hurt the person's feelings intentionally or destroy the thing. Likewise, we can't claim to love God while we are disobedient to His commandments and we can’t t claim to love our neighbors while we hurt them by sinning against them.
1Cor 14:4-8 tells what love really is. Make a decision today to purposefully love God and people around you, until it becomes a habit. Furthermore, Romans 12:18 says, Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Shalom
Prayer: in the name of the Lord Jesus, I walk and act in love and so I live in peace with everyone around me and I portray my love for God through complete obedience. Amen.
