Topic: THE HOPE FOR THE FUTURE
Text: Jer 29: 11-14
Vs 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12. Then you will call upon me and come pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.

MESSAGE
Our God is forever faithful to His promises, He remains firmly in control of all events happening in our lives, He is sovereign over all, and therefore, our hopeful confidence should ultimately depend on Him. No matter what the present situation around you says, it doesn't define you. What defines us as Christians is our reality in Christ Jesus.

Are you sick? That's the situation of things at the present moment, but our reality in Christ over sickness says 'by His stripes we are healed'. The voice of that reality should overthrow the voice of the situation.
Take the long view, don't be discouraged nor lose hope, He who promised is able to fulfill; for he honors his word more than his name.

Prayer: Father Lord, I thank you for the hope of a better future, I ask for grace to remain in you fill my joy is full. Amen
