TOPIC: Cast all your care
MEMORY VERSE: 1Peter 5:6-7 6.
6. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth For you.
MESSAGE
The Bible in 1Peter 5:6 tell us to humble ourselves, that he may exalt us.
Once we have learned to humble ourselves, we can take the next step and walk in the confidence of God. Notice we are to give up all our cares . We are to cast our family cares , ours job cares on God. When a fisherman casts his line out , it goes far from him to another place. That is what we are supposed to do with our cares. We are to cast them far from us to another place right into Gods hands. Then we are to let go of them. God wants to get rid of them He can’t do that until we are ready. You are not supposed to be walking around full of care.
God is saying to you, cast your cares on me , I’m equipped to handle your cares . I know what to do with them, I know how to destroy them. If you’ll just let me, I will demonstrate that I know what I’m doing . That care is not our problem. It is not our responsibility. We grieve the spirit of God when we hold on to our cares because we stop Him from doing what He desires to do with them .
PRAYER: Father , I pray that You will make me whole and restore my joy in You.
