TOPIC: GOD IS NOT MAN
TEXT: Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
MESSAGE
Your idealogy of God determines the reality you will get. The way and manner a man perceives God doesn’t change God’s personality but rather it affects man’s personality. God is unlimited however Man can limit God in his perception of God, when a man relates with God as a man , he limits God and everything goes wrong when God is liken to a man. No believer will ever liken God to a man however there are attitudes and behaviour that makes a believer to liken God to a man.
In Isaiah 7:13, the prophet asked a question when it appears the people liken God to a man, “And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also’’?
God has said…
“ He will not lie”, “ He will not repent”, “ He will do what he has said”, “ He will make do what He he spoken”, God is able to do the aforementioned because He is God and he is not a man. Whenever you doubt God, you liken him to a man. Whenever we complain and question what God has spoken, we liken him to a man.
Beloved, the word of the lord to you this morning is that; God is not man therefore you should never doubt him.
ACTION POINT: Everything goes wrong when man doubts God.
PRAYER POINT: Jesus the son of God, I believe in you. I trust you and I hold on to your word. Amen
