*GRACE CENTRE DAILY DEVOTIONAL*
Date: 23rd June 2020
Topic : God is able.
Text : Ephesians 3:20
KJV: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Daniel 3:15-17, 2 Chronicles 32:15

Message
When confronted with the burning fiery furnace, the king asked the three Hebrew boys,“Who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?”
When the stronghold of Sennacherib king of Assyria sent a message to Hezekiah king of Judah, he told him the great exploits he has done and the number of nations and kingdoms he (Sennacherib) has defeated and taken captive. Afterwards he asked Hezekiah same question " shall your God deliver you out of mine hands?"
We notice a pattern here. The enemy seeks to magnify his power, exploits and ability so that we can lose sight and trust in God's ability. Friends, every challenge , problem and trials that comes our way will always question God's ability and power. Our victory lies not in the size of the problem, neither in the number of resources or available man power at our disposal. Rather our victory, trust and confidence lies in the ability of God. Our victory comes when we magnify God's ability above the problem. Our victory is guaranteed when we talk more about God's ability than the problem.
The pattern to victory is to tell the problem about God's ability and not murmur and complain about the problem to God. Our bold confession should be "Our God whom we serve is able to save us and he will deliver us.”

Action point : Every problem is a platform for God to show his ability, cherish it.

Prayer point : Lord, let your ability find expression in my life
